Great friends and significant others. With both having an interest in religion, Jake becomes a rabbi and Brian a priest. Anna, whom they knew when they were younger, comes back to town a stunning woman. The colors are very well balanced, and given the natural shooting style of the film, the tones all appear very realistic. Stiller and Norton star as life-long friends Jake and Brian. Jake finds himself attracted to Anna but because she's not Jewish, he can't marry her as it would make his appointment less likely. It is just a beautiful film which I must say for a comedy and a Ben Stiller film is pretty jokeless.

Norton shows little visual flair in his directorial debut, keeping things simple and neat. The framing of the picture appears to be accurate and the image does not suffer from any artifacting or compression problems. Jake interrupts Anna's going away office party and manages to get her attention from a window in the building across the street and calls to explain himself and offer to set things right. The picture is very sharp and clear, showing no defects on the source print or grain. Set in lushly filmed New York City, Norton's film exhudes an innocent charm that's sure to please audiences of all denominations.
